Yuletide 2024
10/21/24: I'm back home and I've added blurbs for a few of my requests. The missing ones are coming up.
10/17/24: Sorry I'm in transit and will have a proper letter written this weekend.
Dear Author,
Apologies for the delay in the letter. Every year, I am caught off guard by when this should be done, and being on vacation surprisingly gave me less time than I thought to gather my feelings into a letter.
The following prompts are just suggestions and clarifications regarding what I'd like. Please know that I will love anything so long as it's mindful of my Do Not Want list.
Thank you for participating, and I hope you have fun.
I am always open to treats!
YES:
DO NOT WANT:
I am a million percent trash and will always love smut of any kind, including PWP. For your comfort, NSFW LIKES AND DNWs are separate.
Thank you, and happy writing!

Oshi no Ko - Arima Kana
My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags
I probably did this part of the request wrong. To clarify, I am happy to read a fic as long as it focuses on Kana. It can include one of the other nominated characters of your choosing (Hoshino Aqua, Kurokawa Akane, or Himekawa Taiki) and it can be gen or ship.
Note: I am (mostly) caught up on the manga, and I don't care about spoilers, so don't worry about that.
On Kana: Imagine peaking in your tweens. Kana's struggle to reconcile professional viability in the face of decline and her own passion for acting was heartbreaking, and made me want to root for her. Seeing her shine in the 2.5D theater arc was fantastic.
I love her budding feelings for Aqua and the way they support each other, Akane's simultaneous conflict with and deep admiration of Kana, and the quirky dynamic between Himekawa and Kana. Ship-wise, my preferences are Aqua/Kana or Akane/Kana but I'd be interested in where someone would go with Taiki/Kana.
Nabari no Ou - Shimizu Raimei, Shimizu Raikou, Aizawa Kouichi
My gift must feature one or more of my chosen character tags (giver's choice)
This series is so nostalgic. I loved the concept and enjoyed the manga from start to finish. Raimei is my favorite character of the three, but I'm happy with anything about any of them. I enjoyed Kouichi and Raimei as a ship, but even their dynamic as friends is fun. I don't think a post-series "fix-it" is necessary since Kouichi achieved his ultimate goal, but if you have a vision, that's would be interesting!
Other suggestions:
Natsume Yuujinchou - Natori Shuuichi, Natsume Takashi
My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags
I love every soft moment Natsume gets to have, and I am simultaneously enamored with himshowereddrowning in sincere affection, support and friendship as I am with seeing him wrecked or wrecking himself for the sake of others. Natsume deserves to be nurtured and reassured that it is more than okay for him to exist. He also deserves to step on people a little.
I love, love, love, love Natori. How he empathizes with Natsume, providing support and encouraging Natsume's connections with other people. Every time Natsume pokes fun at or gets annoyed with his sparkly celeb persona, it gives me life.
Possible Suggestions:
Bishounen Tanteidan - Doujima Mayumi, Soutouin Manabu
My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags.
(Copied from my 2022 letter bc I'm lazy and I'd want the same stuff anyway)
From the moment Manabu twirled and dipped Mayumi on the observation deck under a starry sky, I was sold. This anime is gorgeous and Manabu and Mayumi's dynamic is intellectually driven (since it's a mystery series), supportive and built on mutual respect. While Manabu is younger and understandably naive, he's clever and more sensitive to the feelings of people around him than one would assume a self-proclaimed "pretty boy" would be. He builds Mayumi's confidence, encourages her to think for herself and respects her perspective. What surprised me about Manabu is how he anticipated and openly welcomed Mayumi consulting a former enemy when she hit a mental block, when she had felt guilty and went to great lengths to hide it.
Mayumi begins the series down on herself, and thinking she's out of her league compared to the Pretty Boy Detective Club, but after receiving their aid, she resolves to help others by joining them. While her ability to perceive what others can't is an asset, her thoughts and friendship are just as valuable. In the last case of the anime, the club uncovers a conspiracy to promote a stricter school culture that discourages individuality. If it were a success, the school would become an environment that would actively crush Manabu's free spirit. When Mayumi's life is threatened, Manabu makes the decision to stop the investigation, prioritizing her safety over his future school life.
I like Manabu and Mayumi as a ship but I am okay with genfic that maintains their rapport as colleagues and friends. If you would like to age up the characters for ship purposes, I would prefer a timeskip over an AU.
Suggested Prompts:
Blue Period (Manga) - Hashida Haruka
My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags
Hashida has always interested me as a character, since there's significantly less info about him in the series. This includes misinformation that he has spread himself (there's a short comic where he gives a different explanation for his braids to 3 people). It's implied that his family is wealthy (they take regular vacations to Europe). We're shown that he's got 2 older sisters and 1 younger sister who (affectionately) bully him; he has a good understanding of human nature, but still teases people; he has a wealth of knowledge about art history and art as a process, but no aspirations for his own artistic expression. On a related note, he's fascinated by people on an intellectual level, but doesn't open up to them emotionally. As unashamedly weird and complex as he is, I feel there's a lot to explore.
You're free to include Yaguchi Yatora, or Takashi Yotasuke, or both in your story, as long as Hashida is the central focus.
Visual Prison - Jack Mouton, Robin Laffite
My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags.
(Copied from my 2022 letter bc I'm lazy and I'd want the same stuff anyway)
Even though "agegap twincest vampires" is a fun gimmick, the appeal for me is in the dynamic between Jack and Robin and their contrast in personality and world views rather than their physical ages. The size difference and perceived age gap is fine when played for comedy. In NSFW writing, I would prefer not focusing on how childlike Jack's body is. If aging him up by some means (like vampire magic or just being around for eons), makes this easier for you, go for it.
As soon as I saw Robin rub his cheek against a building at the sound of his twin's voice within, I knew this was going to be my favorite Visual Prison ship (I'm sorry). Robin is an optimistic ray of sunshine with a little bit of violence as a treat. Not going to lie, the line about being "the only one who can hurt [Jack]" was one of my favorites, so if you were planning to explore that, please do.
In contrast, Jack acts cynical and savvier, like he's been around the block. He openly shows his worst traits and doesn't hide how jealous he was of Robin, but they hang out despite this. It's cute. I also appreciate that no matter how much Jack tries to differentiate/separate himself from Robin, he still gets scared and the twins cling to each other.

- Permanent death of requested characters (time loops are okay!)
- Crossovers
- Crack (humor that makes sense in canon context is perfectly fine)
- A/B/O AU
- Songfic
- Unrequested gender identity headcanons, neurodivergent headcanons, raceswaps or genderswaps

Other suggestions:
- Post-series Shimizu siblings doing dumb stuff together
- A canon scene written from Kouichi's perspective.
- Kouichi throughout the ages, trying to figure out how to be convincingly human
- Raimei and Kouichi having a day as "normal kids"
- post-series, does Raimei think about Kouichi?
Natsume Yuujinchou - Natori Shuuichi, Natsume Takashi

I love, love, love, love Natori. How he empathizes with Natsume, providing support and encouraging Natsume's connections with other people. Every time Natsume pokes fun at or gets annoyed with his sparkly celeb persona, it gives me life.
Possible Suggestions:
- I will NEVER tire of Natsume Getting Kidnapped and Dressed Up Pretty to help youkai, them being found by Natori
- An AU where Natsume chooses to become Natori's partner. How does that change their relationship and their differing perspectives on youkai over time?
- Natsume marries into the Natori clan. The marriage can be fake, strategic (to protect youkai), or serious.
- Natori whisks Natsume away on Yet Another Job disguised as a vacation that typically has Romantic Implications (an onsen, the beach, a riverside inn in a forest).
Bishounen Tanteidan - Doujima Mayumi, Soutouin Manabu

Suggested Prompts:
- Going on a fake date as reconnaissance (dressed up or not)
- Dancing under the stars
- Years after they've left school behind, the two reunite and reminisce
Blue Period (Manga) - Hashida Haruka

- How does their twin and/or Vampire Parent/Child connection affect their relationship?
- Twins go on a sweets tour of Harajuku
- Since they have forever, how would their relationship change over 100 years?
- That one time Jack came to lowkey comfort Robin by bullying him, but more of it.
- Singing together
